Kimberly Carter

Kitchen and Bath Designer

Kimberly has a degree in interior design with an emphasis in kitchen and bath design from Virginia Tech. She began her time here as an intern as part of her undergraduate studies. After graduation she joined Custom Kitchens full time and was a part of the team for 15 years beginning as a draftsman and later serving as our showroom manager before moving into a design position.

She enjoys working with clients in creating spaces that are not only functional and fit their lifestyle but also compliment the character of their home. Just as each client is unique, creating spaces that reflect and compliment their individual lifestyle is a welcome challenge that she is ready to take from concept to reality.

When she’s not designing kitchens and baths you can often find she and her husband enjoying time with their two children watching them play sports. She also enjoys camping, traveling, participating in community outreach and teaching in the children’s ministry at her church.
